Our Beliefs

We are a church of Christ patterned after the New Testament example of local churches. The Bible is our only rule of faith.

We believe in the absolute authority of the word of God and its ability to provide answers for everything we do in our doctrine and practice. We exalt Jesus Christ and seek to glorify Him, not ourselves (Col 1:18). Therefore, we strive to promote commitment to Christ, not to any man or institution (1 Cor 2:5).

We invite you to come and worship with us as we pray and sing songs of praise to Jehovah and study from His Word.

We are simply Christians. . .

Have you ever wondered how the first Christians worshipped, and what their churches were like? All you need to know about the first century church can be found in God's revealed word, the Bible.

So, why are there so many different denominations today? Why do they worship in different ways and teach different doctrines? Jesus never meant it to be so. In John 17:20-21 He prayed to the Father for unity among Christians:

I do not ask thee in behalf of these alone {referring to the apostles}, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me.

We are a group of Christians that strive to worship God the same way the first Christians did, and in that way continue the unity that Jesus prayed for. And there are other groups like us, across the United States and all around the world. We have no central organization - but we have a common cause: to be the church as it was when first instituted by Jesus in the first century. The Bible teaches us that our practices and teachings must be by the authority of Christ, Colossians 3:17:

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Therefore, we rely only on God's written word as the authority for how we worship Him.

You can be simply a Christian, a follower of Christ, without being a member of any man-made denomination.

Our evangelist... Following the pattern in the New Testament, we have preachers that exhort and encourage God's people in the church.
